Don’t listen to these sad little trolls! “Moon Students” is a heartfelt story of young people finding their strength and speaking up for themselves. It is well-written and extremely well-acted. If fact, it is teeming with future stars and has its fingers on the pulse of our youth. And the final act really stuck with me. Anybody trying to dish this movie is a pure troll who should be easily dismissed. Of all of the rank content out there today, I was happily surprised to find these characters so complex. And the film’s understanding of the way today’s culture is the strongest when we unite is just so simple and profound. For a indie film, it’s themes are timeless and even more true than they were during the pandemic. See it. You won’t be sorry.
