“I decided to watch the 2021 thriller movie “The Good Neighbor” because I had the chance. I didn’t know about it before, but the story description seemed interesting, and having Jonathan Rhys Meyers in the cast made it even more appealing.

The plot in “The Good Neighbor” was good and well-written. It had some typical parts, and I could predict some things, but overall, it was entertaining. The way the story was presented felt like an old-school thriller.

The actors, especially Luke Kleintank and Jonathan Rhys Meyers in the main roles, did a good job. I was particularly impressed with Meyers’ performance; he was a perfect fit for the role, making the characters feel real.

If you like thrillers, you should give “The Good Neighbor” a try if you get the chance. I was pleasantly surprised and entertained by Stephan Rick’s direction. However, it’s not the kind of thriller you’d watch multiple times because the story doesn’t have enough depth for repeated viewings. The ending was a big letdown for me.

I’d give “The Good Neighbor” a six out of ten stars.”
